Officers: The Secretary position needs to be filled.
Clay County Democrats Annual Picnic: Saturday, August 23, 5:00pm, Gary's on the River. Two Candidates for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.
50501 Movement “Workers over Billionaires” People’s Protest: Monday, September 1. 11am-noon. Dickinson County Courthouse sidewalk. Organized by Sonya Johnson. Awareness will be made through Social media & email. Motion made and was defeated to place an ad in the Lakes News Shopper.
Palo Alto County Event: Saturday, September 6, 5:00pm, Emmetsburg VFW Doughnuts and Donkeys. Public Invited. Free Admittance. Puzzles, games, doughnuts, and candidates! https://www.facebook.com/share/1AppT6P7nY/
Le Mars Event – NW Iowa Democrats. Will be hosting their 3rd Annual Dinner with Democrats at the Willow Creek Banquet Hall at the Will Creek Golf Course in Le Mars on Sept 24th from 5 – 7PM.
Participation in Pioneer Days: VP Kaylene Kinlen requested input for next year for banners on the parade exhibit and more importantly what to provide to the announcer of who we are, what we do, and our stand. Short direct statements.
Clay County Democrats Fair Booth Cheri Shatto put out a request for volunteers to staff the booth at the fair. Sept 6th – 14th. Shift times: 9- Noon. Noon – 4. 4 – 8. Full shift or even partial shift. Interesting and rewarding experience. Contact Cheri by phone or text at 712-221-0053
